Step By Step Setup Instructions
for the 4TheNET PAYS Dialer

After installation the dialer will run
and open the dialer window. |

Click on the button marked
"Properties" |

You will see 2 phone book buttons. One
for 'Phone Number' and one for 'Backup Number'. Click on the
'Phone Book' button to the right of the 'Phone Book' box and select the correct
number for your modem. If you do not know your modem then select 'General'. Click on 'OK'
You MUST now
repeat this for the 'Backup Number' (Use
the 'General' number for this) |

Next select your modem. Click on
the text box labeled 'Connect Using' and select your modem. Click
on the 'OK' button. |

Type your Username into the Field
marked 'Username'. If you have a username of the form username@dial4,
you MUST NOT enter the @dial4, just enter username. |

You do not have to enter a password into
the PAYS Version 2 dialer as you are authorised by username. |

Press the button marked 'Connect'. |
| 8 |
You should now be on-line, and earning
PAYS points. |
| 9 |
To disconnect ensure that you
double click on the 4TheNET Icon in the 'system tray' at the bottom of
your screen, and select 'disconnect'. If you use any other method
we cannot guarantee that your points will be calculated correctly. |
